LONDON GATWICK TRAVELLERS: Travellers through the airport no longer need to remove laptops or liquids from their hand luggage. Hurrah! (From 2 April 2025)

EUROPEAN VISAS: There is now a requirement for Europeans to obtain authorisation (an ‘ETA’ to visit the UK. However, the equivalent (ETIAS) for UK travellers to visit Europe will not launch for another 18 months. Plenty of time for us all to get used to the new system. (From 2 April 2025)
