If you’re heading to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Italy or Switzerland, these countries have reportedly been allowed to delay the full implementation of the EU’s biometric Entry-Exit System (EES).
That could mean shorter queues and less chance of delays when entering these destinations compared with some airports where EES queues have recently been seen.
