Dubai is one of those destinations that never seems to stand still. There is always a new hotel, attraction, restaurant or experience to discover – and after around 25 visits, I still find myself learning something new.
I’m particularly experienced when it comes to my knowledge of Dubai. I worked for the Dubai Tourist Office for 10 years, giving me an in-depth understanding of the destination, its hotels, attractions and the experiences that make it so special.
So, when I was recently invited to a Dubai Roadshow, it was the perfect opportunity to top up my knowledge and find out what’s new.
Keeping up with the latest in Dubai
The event brought together travel professionals, Emirates, Dubai hotels and attractions, who shared their latest news and updates with us. I’m perfectly placed to personally advise you on the best hotel and experiences to make your Dubai holiday special for you.
JA Resorts & Hotels (JA Beach Hotel, JA Palm Tree Court, JA Lake View Hotel, JA Ocean View Hotel, JA Hatta Fart Hotel, JA The Manor Hotel)
Atlantis Dubai (Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal)
Jumeirah (Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Burj Al Arab)
But it wasn’t all presentations and destination updates! The evening was a wonderful taste of Dubai, with plenty of opportunities to experience some of the sights, sounds, scents and flavours of the destination.
I enjoyed:
- ✨ Taking in some incredible views
- 🌸 Having a henna tattoo
- 🎶 Listening to traditional music
- 🌺 Designing my own perfume
- 🥂 Sampling some delicious drinks
- 🍢 Enjoying some exquisite food
It was a great reminder of just how much there is to discover in Dubai.
Dubai is so much more than sunshine and skyscrapers
When people think of Dubai, they often picture sunshine, beaches, shopping and impressive skyscrapers. And yes, Dubai certainly offers all of those things! But there is so much more to the destination.
From luxurious beach resorts and incredible dining to desert adventures, cultural experiences, family attractions, world-class hotels and spectacular city views, Dubai can offer something very different to different travellers.
Whether you’re looking for a twin centre with another destination, relaxing luxury beach holiday, a family adventure, a romantic escape, a city break or a trip packed with experiences, choosing the right area, hotel and activities can make all the difference.
And that’s where my first-hand experience can help.
Planning a holiday to Dubai?
With 10 years of experience working for the Dubai Tourist Office and around 25 personal and work visits to the destination, I can help you navigate the many options and create a Dubai holiday that’s right for you.
I can recommend hotels and experiences based on what you want from your holiday – rather than simply pointing you towards a list of the most popular options online.
So, if you’re thinking about visiting Dubai, what would you like to know?
Have a question about the best area to stay, hotels, beaches, family holidays, luxury resorts, things to do or when to visit?
Ask me anything!
