Begin in vibrant Bangkok where you will have a 3 night stay Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, perfectly located to see the best that Bangkok has to offer by day and by night. Explore the night markets, Grand Palace or one of the many temples or even head out to the famed floating markets. The hotel itself is stylish with a fresh contemporary feel. The highlight has to be the rooftop pool with sweeping views of the Bangkok skyline.
Fly down to Southern Thailand and take a speedboat across to the island of Koh Chang (Which means Elephant Island in Thai). Although it is the third-largest island in Thailand, it is quieter and lesser known that Phuket and Koh Samui. It is the perfect place to unwind, laze by the pool with a cocktail or visit a local spa. But the island offers the chance to take hikes, go jungle trekking or head out on a boat trip for snorkel or dive excursions.
Your stay here is for 10 nights at the Santhiya Tree Koh Chang Resort. Settled between Koh Chang’s rugged mountain peaks, stretching all the way down to the golden shores of Klong Prao beach, this flagship Santhiya Tree resort is a sight to behold. The palatial architecture of the main building with its teak interiors and ornate wood carvings add a revered charm to your stay and when matched with the attentive service and opulent facilities, results in a rejuvenating celestial ambience from the moment you arrive.
This charming resort is a place to come and get away from it all but when you’re not soaking up the spectacular vistas from the infinity pool or unwinding at the tranquil beach with a good book, there are lots of activities to choose from. Authentic Thai cooking classes will deepen your knowledge of the local culture and reveal the simplicity and secrets behind your favourite dishes while the free kayak and paddle-board hire add a sense of adventure as you scour the national marine park for tropical sea life.
You’ll be staying in a Pool Suite Water View, providing views across the jungle-clad peaks and canal, with a private plunge pool on your terrace. The suite is traditionally Thai in design with a centrepiece four-poster bed.
